A definitive voice in Chicago’s creative landscape, CaSera Heining—widely known as DJ Ca$h Era—is a multifaceted performer, producer, and curator who has mastered the art of building community through sound. As a Queer Black woman navigating the highest levels of the industry, her 12+ years of professional experience began at Columbia College Chicago, where she synthesized her background in Radio Broadcasting with a passion for high-energy, organic sonic experiences.

CaSera’s impact has earned her significant industry recognition, most recently being honored as "ICON of the Year" by TimesUp Productions. This distinction joins an impressive list of accolades, including holding the title of Chicago’s Best Hip-Hop DJ (Chicago Reader) consecutively since 2021. Today, she continues to influence the airwaves as a producer at 720AM WGN Radio and serves as a premier musical ambassador for professional sports and global brands, including roles as the Official DJ for the Chicago Sky, the Nike World Headquarters Pride Network, and an Atrium/Concourse DJ for the Chicago Bulls.

She currently curates three distinct party series, most notably Honey, the premier Sunset R&B rooftop experience that has become a Chicago staple for vibes and community. As a member of the Jordan Brand Global Women’s Collective, her portfolio includes collaborations with heavyweights like BET, Nike, Jordan, Chicago Cubs, Chicago Blackhawks, Beats by Dre, STARZ, and Redbull.
